Dean Barnhart

PARTNER – SOFTWARE DESIGN & USER EXPERIENCE

Dean is an executive in customer and user experience with a background in creative direction and interactive design. He has been a designer for over 25 years with the last 16 focused on architecting and designing online applications, websites and mobile applications for notable companies such as Microsoft, FEDEX, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield and Hewlett Packard. Dean is the former Director of Design and User Experience at 23 TouchPoints/Virtuoso responsible for the creation of a travel research tool for luxury travel agents. Prior to that he was the Executive Creative Director/Principal for Pathway2Design, a healthcare focused design firm.
He successfully directed the creation and launch of 4 new Medicare plan offerings and a clinical program that including websites, online customer access portals, marketing and sales materials. He was responsible for the overall customer experience, user interface and branding from first exposure to claim submission. Before that he was Creative Director and Managing Information Architect for Premera Blue Cross and a Senior Interface Strategist for First Consulting Group. Dean graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with emphasis in Public Relations and Consumer Behavior.
